The primary issues were the constant noise and overcrowding. The situation was so severe that we had to call the front office at 4:00 AM to request security due to a terrible noise disturbance near our room. This is simply unacceptable for a hotel that markets itself as a 5-star establishment.
Furthermore, our "Superior Room with Sea View" was misleading. The room itself felt standard, not "superior" in any way. The "sea view" was practically non-existent; we could only see a distant part of the sea, while the main view was of busy roads. This contributed to the overall noise problem and was far from the peaceful, premium experience we paid for.
In summary, the hotel fails to deliver on its promises. The value and the experience do not match the price tag or the 5-star rating

The hotel is beautiful, very tasteful interior, many facilities, great outdoor pool (temperature regulated), gym with sauna. The staff was absolutely great at their job and was the best part of the stay. They even provided us with a late check-out which we were very grateful as our flight was in the evening.
The room and the whole hotel were very clean. Location of the hotel is great, we were never stuck in traffic and it was easy to get ubers everywhere.
We tried two restaurants in the hotel, as well as the hairdresser services and were satisfied by quality and pricing.
Unfortunately the noise isolation of rooms is very average. On our first vacation morning we got woken up at 7am by the screaming kids in the room next to ours. You can also hear the shutting of the doors in the corridor, so if you are a light sleeper, that is something to consider.
The pillows are too soft for my preference.
We bought breakfast once while in the hotel for 7BD, the night before (if you pay the morning of, it is more expensive). I think it is quite expensive for what they offer, especially since the breakfast restaurant space is quite small and gets very busy and loud ~9am, as there are many families staying.
Seems like hotel is liked by families (or maybe that was just our luck), so if you are looking for a quite, romantic getaway/staycation, this might not be it. Especially for the pricing of the rooms

The location and selection of room service food, also, the personnel who extended their support in the room services and Spa facilities were great with good customer orientation.
I requested for a room with bathub for the kids to enjoy, extra bed and essential amenities to be available upon check-in, unfortunately, the room assignment was without the tub and I needed to request it again (twice) to have the basic essentials prepared and given.

Spacious and nicely functional room with modern furniture - great for families with two children! Beautiful pools (three), fully equipped gym with three rooms, jacuzzis (one hot, one cold), sauna, steam bath - and separate spa! Very good location. Beautiful restaurants and reception with cool furniture and piano. Very polite and professional and friendly staff!
This is not exactly a romantic place for couples; but it certainly is a wonderful place for families or for people that enjoy a beautiful gym, pools and spa! And it is also an amazing fit for diplomats or businessmen visiting bahrain!

The pool was flooded with single bachelor people drinking and hashing infront of my kids which was not appropriate at all for family settings
The cleanliness of was lesser that the average Radisson.
The breakfast at the olive restaurant was terrible, with old egg and most options are not fresh. we could not eat anything unfortunately.
I strongly believe that Radisson Blu Diplomat was way much better on the previous years, however, the quality has dropped a lot since they opened up for the inappropriate business visitors/escorts that brutally violate a family environment!

Our stay was absolutely delightful, the reception team were friendly and accommodating, I would like to thank Amr for the warm welcoming.The room we had was spacious enough, impeccably clean, and the bed along with the pillows were very comfortable. Additionally, the view was quite lovely. Pool area was fantastic, clean facilities. I recommend Radisson, this hotel and the Radisson Hotels group, were and will always be my number 1 choice when I search accommodations.

First of all, they didn't give us the rooms until 4:10 and the check-in is supposed to be at 3
There was no Dental kit in the bathroom

The property is well kept, clean, in excellent location and very comfortable.
All the toiletries were empty, the shampoo bottle the conditioner and the body wash, even the hand soap there was very little left in the bottle.Unfortunately, no one checked that when cleaning after the last guest. Considering I checked that very late at night I was very tired to call housekeeping but it was very disappointing considering that this is one of the well respected and trusted accommodation.

Warmest thanks to the incredible team at Radisson Blu Diplomat! ? Hospitality is truly their forte - every visit feels like coming home. We love the cozy 1-bedroom apartment, and while the new modern design is sleek, we miss the old-school charm's bathtub.
BUT, the real showstopper? The NEW YEAR'S EVE fireworks view! Adjacent to our room.
Kudos to the A-team: Valet parking maestro Abdulla, and the Reception squad - Amr, Shine, Glydel, and the whole crew, including Isa and team. You guys made our short vacay unforgettable. Can't wait to be back!

Additionally, I would like to share some feedback about my stay:
I booked a two-bedroom apartment with a kitchen, but I was surprised to find that the kitchen was completely empty—not a single plate, spoon, or fork was available. Also, the cleaning service was not up to expectations. The apartment seemed barely cleaned; beds were made and the bathroom was wiped, but there was no proper tidying up of the space.
Moreover, on Friday night around midnight, there was a very strong smell of cooked onions coming through the ventilation or hallway, and it was so intense that it disturbed our sleep.
I hope you take this feedback into consideration to improve the guest experience in the future.

Ms. Marry the front desk is very respectful and professional and she was always smiling. Ms. Marry has upgraded our room to be an apartment and we really spent great time especially at the swimming pool and the hotel restaurant and spa. I really felt that the crew were welcoming and nice to us. We will definitely come back soon.

The living room was a good size and the overall decor/atmosphere were very pleasant. The beds were comfortable and made for a good night’s sleep. What really stood out though was the exceptional support from the staff. They were extremely flexible with check in and check out, allowing us to check in a bit early and check out about two hours late! They even provided an extra bed free of charge for my 6yo!
Another plus was having two TVs, one in the living room and one in the bedroom. I also appreciated the attention to detail with connectivity. There were USB ports everywhere, including USB C in some spots, and HDMI ports, all of them built into the wall near the TVs for easy access. I tested them and they worked perfectly, which is something many hotels get wrong and makes connecting a laptop or other device much easier.
No bathrobes, and would've liked the kids club to include at least a mini softplay area but it was fine for what it was I guess. A minor nitpick would be to have like a doormat or something to separate the entrance from the inside so that we keep our shoes in an organized way.
