our room at far end of building with poor internet connection; room has no blackout curtain we couldnt sleep much due to bright light; bathroom extremely small with no surface to place the wash bag; shower water luckwarm. we saw a dead cockroach in the room very unpleasant :(

The staff was really nice and helpful, and spoke good English which was a big help. They let me check in early which was really nice after a long flight. The bedding and towels were super soft and comfortable.
The shower had a slight smell and the breakfast could be a little better, but still had enough stuff to eat.

Considering we only stayed in the hotel for one night, it was totally ok. The room was large with a big table with five chairs (even though the room is only for two?). The breakfast was varied with the cooks bringing out freshly-made pancakes and eggs. There is access to the pool, which is much needed on hot days.
The layout of the room was very strange and not very cozy. The kitchenette was tiled giving an impression of a butcher shop. There was only one window in our particular room and opened directly onto a staircase, so you of course had to keep it closed all the time.

The location was very central and other place could be reached by taxi. Santiago and Miguel helped me very well and I felt really safe in the area/hotel. The personnel was quick to reply in case of any issues.
There is a lot of noise in the area and the windows are not completely isolated, so it might not be the best option if you need to a siesta. Other than that, they mixed my white laundry with collered clothes resulting in change of color.

Nice open layout, nice pool, all clean.
They charged me a half day lodging just to stay an extra 4 hours after checkout and use the pool with the kids. That might be fair, but it wasn't what I understood would be the cost. In retrospect, the misunderstanding might have been because of my poor Spanish, but still the guy at the desk wasn't very nice about it when I contested the cost.

The hotel was clean and centrally located. I communicated with the staff ahead of time which helped. Also, they were very helpful in getting taxis to other parts of the city.
The hotel has at least 3 floors, no elevator but it's not that tough to walk up to the upper levels. You can request a room on the lower floors if you need one.

We arrived in the early hours and the gentlemen on duty was helpful and also spoke very good English.
There is no lift in this hotel and some rooms are on the 3rd floor (like ours) so lugging heavy suitcases up and down is not great. We had a family room which had air con and was clean but a little cramped for our liking with 4 beds in the 1 room.

The central location is great -- especially since I was in Santa Cruz for only a short stay. The hotel was very clean. The staff were friendly, kind, and knowledgeable. (I mostly dealt with Santiago at the front desk but all employees were helpful.) I was surprised by the free breakfast (I think the Booking.com description says the hotel doesn't provide meals) with lots of in-season fruit! And I didn't realize there is a pool, which looked well maintained.

Room was clean and comfortable. The staff were so friendly and very helpful. The breakfast had a decent selection for Bolivia and lots of eggs. Located pretty centrally and easy to get to. The pool was nice and my daughter had fun swimming.
Be aware that there are no elevators. Next door to the hotel is some sort of gym or activity center that had a competition and party that went late and was pretty noisy each night.

Very friendly and helpful staff, pool was especially enjoyable in the hot Santa Cruz weather. Nice breakfast with plenty to choose from and a good location walking distance from town. They very kindly allowed us to check in early (we arrived at 8am after an overnight flight)
Rooms were very dark, and a bit old fashioned and basic for the cost. Shower was a bit rough and ready and water temperature unpredictable. Felt good value at the time, but after spending time in Bolivia including in a different hotel in Santa Cruz, I feel there are nicer rooms in Santa Cruz that are cheaper/better value.

Very convenient location only 5 minutes walk to centre of Santa Cruz. Staff were very helpful and welcoming. Good WiFi. Decent selection at breakfast, pool was clean. Comfortable bed with AC and black out curtains. One of the most value for money hotels we've ever stayed in

It's near the cathedral.
The room is not clean, especially the bed sheet. And it's full of noise. The window is shaking with the wind. The breakfast is too poor. And I can hear clearly the next door's sound. If you scared of noise, don't choose here.

Very close to Plaza 24 de Septiembre and to the terminal Bimodal (take the line 43 from Av. Brasil). Two blocks from the street (Av. Caoto) to take the bus to the airport (VVI). Breakfast is nice, with several fruits and breads, yogurt, cheese...
The pool was filthy, like dusty. The AC was leaking a lot. The room (with balcony) was a bit noisy.

I loved the location. It was within 2 blocks of everything: Restaurants, shopping district, etc. No taxi was needed for the vast majority of my movement due to La Siesta's proximity to so many amenities. The staff were all very friendly and professional. They were also helpful during all my interactions within them over the course of 2 weeks. The price was reasonable especially compared to other hotels I frequented in SC, BO in the past.
There was nothing I recall disliking about my stay.

It's a good place to stay a couple of nights. The facilities are clean and the pool is nice. Staff is very gentle and in general the place is in good conditions. Always ask for the pool view to have a more quiet and peaceful room. The ones facing the street would be very noisy.
The breakfast is good enough but doesn't have a lot of variety.
It's not their fault, but the surrounding zone felt a little unsafe at night. The shower is electric and it doesn't work very well, it makes a lot of noise and barely warms the water or throws boiling water.

It was all fine. We were in plan B mode and had to book something quickly on Good Friday when everything was closed. There wasnt anything bad just Good Friday made the experience a little different.

There is a discotheque almost across the street and I could not sleep because of the loud music on the last night of my stay, which was a Saturday. That was the only drawback.

La Siesta Hotel is THE place to stay when in Santa Cruz....I want to thank the staff who made my stay SO enjoyable-Augusto,Miguel,Jos Carlos and Fernando at reception...Sonia who cleaned the room,Elizabeth and Juana at breakfast and,of course,Carmen,the owner....Both Augusto and Miguel helped me a lot on the day I arrived by locating a tour company to help me travel to the Jesuit Missions...Location was excellent,a short walk to Plaza 24 de Septiembre.. Breakfast was very nice....and a big THANK YOU to Carmen for arranging breakfast so early on the morning I was leaving....A great place to stay...Top marks
