266 destinationsChoosing between 120+ of themes
A theme score is a comparison inside one destination, not between destinations. A city scoring 90 here is strong on this interest relative to everything else it offers — it is not a claim that it beats the city next to it. That is why the cards show a range of trip lengths and best months rather than a rank.
Start with when you can go. Most of these places have a season that makes or breaks them, and the month chart in each guide compares the twelve months within that city. A destination that scores well for this theme in June may be a poor use of a week in November.
Then how long you have. Each card shows the trip length the guide suggests. A three-day city and a seven-day one are different holidays, and the itineraries above are built to those lengths rather than trimmed to fit.
Every destination here has a full guide: the months, the areas worth staying in, what is worth your time, and hotels you can book direct with no booking fee.
