1. Good location(in the middle of stone town and meters away from amazing sights). 2. Food - not so sure but i know breakfast is served at a nearby restaurant. i had an early breakfast cz i was catching an early flight. the lady at the restaurant was and enough to pack for me- bless her and my regards to her. 3. Accommodation was good- a cozy little gem in the middle of town. Bathrooms are really clean ( i love clean bathrooms). 4. Attendants- the caretaker/ owner was very nice. The cleaning lady (Happy) and another lady were also very nice and welcoming. 5. Price- price was fair however, Booking.com quoted a lesser price and i was charged more. This needs to be checked because customers do not want that inconsistency.

Accommodation- room was a little stuffy but the AC and fan remedied the situation. Location- a lot of outside noise... you can hear all footsteps of people passing outside. But i wasn't surprised cz I mean, it's the nature of the place. But the noise dies down in the night. Price- prices quoted by Booking.come is different from what's usually charged so carry an extra maybe 9 dollars or something. They say its the tax but i dont think because when booking, the breakdown shows and includes the taxes.

The room is beautiful as you see in the photos. I liked the style of the house. The mattress is comfortable. The size of the room is excellent. Hannan is very friendly and was ready to help us. The breakfast is served in a restaurant near by, it is good, the chapati was very good as well as the Spanish eggs. You can also change money there.

The AC was leaking a lot, so we had to use the fan. The curtains are almost invisible, early in the morning you will have a lot of light. There was a big carpet on the floor that was very dirty, also the bathroom was not spotless. It is very neat a mosque and you will listen the prayer as if it is done in your own room.

The room was clean and decorated nicely. The location is very good it’s a close walk to the downtown. I felt the room was secure as the room bolted as well as the exterior door. There are restaurants in the area.

The Wi-Fi didn’t work at all the whole time I was there. I also could not get hot water in the shower. After the manager/owner settled me in the room there was no one on site I was by myself in the building. Also, breakfast was included in the booking however when I was met at check in she told me it was $10. I never ended up doing breakfast there because no one was around.

It was a great stay in Stonetown! My mom and I are particular, especially when it comes to cleanliness - Hanaia was clean, staff was amazingly helpful and the owner went out of her way to show us somethings we wanted to check out. Plus you can't beat the value! we stayed downstairs in the standard rooms but if you don't mind steps I might recommend upstairs deluxe rooms. I had researched Stone Town thoroughly and after reading about bedbugs and issues at other places almost gave up on staying there - luckily Hanaia was there for us! Stone Town is a bustling, tight knit town no matter where you stay. because the building are old - I would recommend earplugs if you are a light sleeper like me. Oh another great thing about Hanaia was how close it was to the road - stone town is a bunch of small roads where only scooters or pedestrians can go - so no cars! Getting your luggage to the hotel can be tricky depending on where you stay this was very easy with Hanaia.

The house has history and was previously owned by an interesting author and politician. There are books and pictures that tell the story of the original occupant so the feel is of living in a piece of history. While not easy to find the house is well located and easy walking distance to all the attractions in Stonetown. It is a relaxed and friendly environment. The breakfasts were huge.

The facilities are adequate although the door to our room was not particularly secure. A bit noisy during the night because of proximity to the street.

The lady who owns is fantastic, always eager and happy to help and accommodate guests' requests. The location is amazing, everything is within walkable distance of 5-10 minutes. The breakfast is OK, the room is nice and clean and the AC works great. Last but not least, the price is very good for Stone Town.

The Wi-Fi could use some improvement as it can sometimes die out of the blue and be gone for a long time.

Really good and central location in the middle of Stone Town.

The room was dark with no natural light. There were lots of mosquitoes in the bathroom and you have to be aware that the rooms are on an street where there is noise and activity all night. We could barely sleep for 2 hours.. The toilet and shower almost fell apart.
