The staff was very friendly. The use of golf carts was useful for transporting luggage ? in this large hotel ? complex. I really appreciated the presence of the swing chair on the balcony, it’s very relaxing ?. The green food (lots of vegetables ?) served at breakfast is to be commanded. Good quality of foods & breads.

The Wi-Fi was weak, several times I had lost my Internet connection. The safe in my room was locked until I left it, despite my request to come and fix it. The hot water wasn’t very hot. They used insecticides in rooms every nights instead of using insect repellent products or devices. The restaurant had flies and waiters & waitresses didn’t assist during breakfast.

Nice rooms, although the bathroom was stinky. Breakfast was OK. Wi-fi was miserable in the room, although in the meeting rooms it was better. Regarding other services, I was charged twice for my stay, and had to go through the process of reimbursement which was painful and lenghty. I also had requested the hotel a driver from the hotel to meet me upon my arrival in Zanzibar. THe hotel had confirmed, but the driver never showed up.

Food spread is very limited. If you are vegetarian dont even think of this hotel. Very limited choice for breakfast or dinner. We had bad experience for dinner ultimately ordered club sandwich offcourse even that originally had chicken but they prepared veg for us. We were made to wait 1hr 10 mins to get the sandwich which had turned cold. Few such things happened in restaurant during 3 days stay. Surely more vegetarian/Indian items need to be added to the spread. If you are visiting zanzibar for beaches this is not the place..there is no beach anywhere near this hotel.

The hotel does not serve alcohol, but guests are allowed to bring their own.

The hotel staff, particularly the reception team, would benefit from additional training in customer service. Their behavior might be acceptable for a two-star hotel, but it does not meet the expectations of a five-star establishment. During check-in, the receptionist was quite rude, which was disappointing. Overall, I found the experience to be lacking in value for money. I also want to mention that the water park is only available on weekends and public holidays, which may be an important consideration for future guests.

Some of the staffs forget a lot,reception,kitchen .....when you call and ask for smthing,you have to call again to remind them,if not,its either you wont get what you asked for or it will come very late and not the way you asked. I also had a very bad experience with the SPA lady at the counter, she told me a different rate,and when i was done,she changed the rate and i had to pay more despite of asking her more than at first about the rate exchange. Otherwise the hotel was nice,the room perfect,the view excellent,most of the staffs were friendly especially Hassan,the guy who drives people to their rooms.

Rooms are big and bed very comfortable. We had light lunch and dinner, food was good. Staff is all wonderful. Breakfast was also good, both omelette station and pancake station.

For a hotel that does not sell alcohol and claims to be a dry hotel I find it strange that a group of loud and drunken people were allowed to drink beer from glass bottles by the pool. That same group was also very loud at dinner time and we noticed them putting something extra in their drinks. I am not against alcohol in any way and would have loved a glass with dinner but can also easily go with out it. That group was also very rude to the staff in my opinion.

Such a disappointment for a 5 star resort. The breakfast was very okay, when it had the potential to be stellar. And unless you pay for a taxi to a restaurant, are condemned to the hotel restaurant which serves pretty mediocre food with a consistent 45-75 min wait for food when the restaurant is completely empty.

The are quick to attend to your request, the place is so beautiful and it being my first time in Zanzibar, I would say they made my stay great. I didn’t really know more could have spend my entire trip there. The place so so beautiful and I love everything. Their breakfast has a large range of delicacies. It’s delicious and the staffs are well trained. You will enjoy most of the activities for free when you book a room there. When you want to visit Zanzibar, don’t hesitate to book this hotel

Some of the trainees were behaving as if they were forced to work. When you need their services, or are asked to come and help you out you have to call and beg at a point before they come. I didn’t want to report but I feel like the way the receptionist are trying all their best to help, they make the work difficult. I hope the management put this in place

There was no one at reception when I arrived; my taxi driver had to carry luggage from car to reception. The reception was given a small space compared to the expanse of the hotel so staff are always over each other at busy times.

I booked an Executive King Sea View but was allocated a ground floor room with a garden view when other rooms were still available. Despite this the marketing manager did not agree to reassign me a room with actual sea view...and rude. The bed and the pillows were uncomfortable. Pillows were particularly small and smashed. The shower drainage was blocked.... flooding the floor. The towels and bed linen could be whiter or brighter. Is not a beach front.

We had a great experience with my wife during our stay in the hotel. All staff were friendly and accommodating. They helped me to get medicine when I had fever. They also arranged the room with birthday greetings for my wife. Thank you for all the support and keep it up.

The hotel is really clean, modern, not too far from stone town. It would cost you around $10-15 per trip. The breakfast caters for all kinds of things which was good. The rooms are specious with good size toilets/bathrooms. They could do a bit better with pillow options though but it was okay.

Honestly the fact that I went to try their Spa ( massage) and I was already skeptical about getting a massage from an African woman since I am used to Thai nationals and I was not wrong because I paid almost $65 for a 50mnts massage that was not worth it.

I liked the fact that this property had a waterpark next to it (Fun for kids). This property is good to stay away from the busy streets. Its soo quiet and peaceful.

Not the best location. far away from touristic area. Would have preferred walking distance instead of car. And the whole purpose of my stay there was for my kids to play at the waterpark, unfortunately they only open on weekends.

The room was very nice and spacious. The grounds were beautiful.

The room service was very slow. The food was terrible. Ruined a prime imported steak one time and served chewy beef in a salad another, which the exec chef blamed on the quality of local beef. Tandoori chicken tasted like tandoori powder. Other than the live cooking stations which is same in any 3-5 star hotel, the breakfast was no where close to any 4 or 5 standard.

I loved how spacious their rooms and bathrooms were. The breakfast was top notch too??

The queen size beds are really really small. They should consider increasing the sizes for more comfort
