Good location (5 minutes from the airport) and very good breakfast. Good complementary shuttle service to airport. The staff is very professional and helpful.

The rooms are old and its missing toilet service maintenance. The loo was clogged and the water was coming out flooding. This also happens in our parents room, so is common and not an exception.

Everything was just perfect. Communication prior to booking was exceptional, airport pickup up and drop off was smooth. All my requests were met adequately. Staff in all department were friendly and professional. The room was spacious and the bed was excellent. The hotel is very close to the airport...Best of all the room was noisy free being on the 7th floor.

I don't have any negative remarks to make...however the choices at breakfast may need a bit of continental variety.

Very warm and welcoming staff. I want to give a special acknowledgment to Tsion who communicated with me throughout my travels went beyond my expectations. Thank you!

Was put in the wrong room and had to change rooms at 1 am. I booked a deluxe queen room but was put in a family room next door to a noisy family with a young child.

I am really pleased with my stay at this hotel as it is a very nice hotel, modern and with all the facilities needed. It is ideally situated for visiting the many sights in Addis Ababa as it is just round the corner from the airport and getting taxi is very easy. The staff are very good, especially the Reception staff who were very friendly and helpful every time you needed their assistance.

I absolutely enjoy my stay at the BW Plus Pearl - the staff is extremely friendly and attentive, the hotel is in a very convenient location (close to the airport but you’re also very fast in the city), breakfast was nice and I also enjoyed dinner in the hotel restaurant. The rooms are big, the bed is comfortable and everything is clean. Big plus is the coffee shop at the ground floor where I enjoyed a fantastic coffee and a very delicious cake. Would definitely come back and recommend this hotel to other fellow travelers!

Free airport shuttle, great breakfast and friendly, pro-active staff.. Everything was perfect right from the time we booked our shuttle via the message chat, I believe it was handled by Ms Tsion. An initial unpleasant experience was swiftly and personally attended to by the GM and Ms Tigist, we are really grateful that...

The mattresses were too soft, and the pillows were too big — it was uncomfortable for me, but someone might like it. It's an absolute matter of personal preference, not a drawback of the facility.

Nice hotel with very helpful personnel. Thanks a lot for the hospitality.

The hotel is a little outdated and needs renovation. This issue is not unique to this hotel but is common in Ethiopia in general, where hotels and buildings often lack proper maintenance. This is a wonderful hotel with a great location and friendly staff, but it needs upgrades before it ends up in poor condition like the Gihon Hotel.

The most comfortable bed I slept on in Ethiopia. Friendly and helpful staff, convenient to airport, free airport shuttle, decent breakfast. Everything I could have hoped for and more.

The soundproofing between the room door and the hallway isn't great, and some of the windows suffer from the same issue. The road outside the hotel is under construction (but that isn't the hotel's fault, of course), and it should be fixed in early 2026.

“People create memories, not things... The real value comes from the ladies and gentlemen who bring that hotel to life”. -Simon Cooper Hands down the greatest hotel experience in all of Ethiopia. I have stayed a plethora of occasions, and I am extremely satisfied each visit. I’ve traveled the world, and this is one of my favorite hotels. The staff treat their guests like family, they bend over backwards to make sure you’re comfortable. Never have I experienced such love and positivity as I do at this glorious hotel. Extremely comfortable beds, spotless rooms, hot showers, laundry, delicious meals, and a 3-5 minute ride to the airport. Give yourself the greatest gift of your Ethiopian travels, book this hotel. Shout out to thy dearest brother and sister Leham and Chala. They are the definition of professionals. The love they bestow upon each guest is truly extraordinary! I leave this hotel rested and with a smile on my face each stay. Thank you family! ??? -Ryan Claus (Inu Yuxibu)
