B&b with a swimming pool and garden with various tropical plants for plant lovers at a very affordable price. Also interesting fauna come to the hotel yard: we met a tree hyrax mom with her cute offspring on the parking site, and various birds.

You should reserve enough time for breakfast, because service was quite slow.

Absolutely brilliant value for money. The staff are very helpful, food in the restaurant very good and rooms very comfortable. We stayed 3 nights at the beginning of our 2 week trip to Tanzania and they were really helpful, arranging drivers to collect us from the airport and take us shopping and to buy local Sim Cards for our phones. Very convenient and safe location for the start of our Safari.

Helpful and kind staff members! All of them! They let me borrow an adapter since I didn't have one! Kept my bag for a few days till my return to the hotel while I complete some activities. They have dinner available at a very convenient price.

Bathroom is not the greatest, toilet was not working properly when I got there in either of the nights so I had to call for someone. They have laundry available, make sure you ask in Shillings and then you convert it to Dollard, otherwise the lady will overcharge you.

Good location.Has a nice garden, swimming pool. The breakfast is very slow in terms of service but overall experience was just amazing as I left my bag accidently in hotel and they sent to airport almost immediately which costs only 10000 shillings,I was super impressed by this.

Hot water was not available on first night but was later fixed.

Great value for money! Definitely recommended for short stays between for example Kili hike and safari, or safari and Zanzibar. The staff was amazing, they even prepared for us package breakfast because we were flying very early in the morning!

We liked everything! Maybe having a hair drier in the reception that the residents can borrow would be beneficial

Great staff and comfortable rooms with hot showers. I spent the night before and after safari there and loved the possibility to safely store luggage not needed for safari. For breakfast the usual eggs, fruits and pancakes and toast, sausages optionally, which was good.

Food isn't worth it. Better to go outside, but the next restaurant is further away. At breakfast only instant coffee and milk powder, if this was changed to local coffee and normal milk that would make the breakfast great.

Staff was super helpful and friendly. Shower was actually hot - not usual in Tanzania. Food was tasty, you have to wait a bit, but they do warn you, and tell you time at which it will be ready. If you plannning for an overnight stay between safari trips, it’s perfect.

If you plan to go to the city, you need to get a dala dala (tuk tuk?), it’s a little secluded.

Great and very welcoming staff A big room, rather modest, but for 1-2 nights is ok. A great plus is a fridge and hot water in the bath. We had breakfast at 6 a.m. ,which is exceptionally useful when leaving early in the morning for a safari. You can order dinner, and after an hour, it will be ready - very tasty! We ordered chicken and burger, portions are good. A good location: not far from the Arusha airport, also close to 2 supermarkets, where you can buy food or wine.

Very nice staff, Simon, Rose, the guy at the reception and the cook (I’m sorry I don’t know your names) were absolutely lovely, helpful and always joyful.. Hakuna matata! :) Place was tidy, food was good and the pool clean.. we found this to be a great place to chill for a few days after a long Safari trip. There’s two stores, a pharmacy, liquor store and other small vegetable vendors nearby.

There were many mosquitos in our room already (we didn’t open any window). We closed the mosquito net immediately when we came in but there was really no point looking at the amount of mosquitos already inside. The room was not very clean and the chairs had many dirty stains. The breakfast was very basic. It took 3 minutes for the shower to become hot.

The facilities are not in its best times anymore. In my room, electricity was not really working and we needed to change the fridge as it was not working. There is no buffet for breakfast and the service was extremely low. The young man serving, did not hurry up. He would always bring one item by one each time to the table. Very basic breakfast. The pool was dirty so we could not swim at all.

Nice room and charming in general. Perfect for families: easy to place three, four or five people. Friendly staff who serve allright food when you need it. Flexible people. Quiet and private. Lush, green, lovely, quite homely gardens with funny monkeys.

We were here in low season - the staff did not have much to do and could have been slightly more efficient while they had guests and during the quiet days. (The pool could have been cleaner; various rubbish could've been removed months ago etc. Fix things that are broken or rundown.)

We stayed at the Karibu Heritage House for three nights (one night before our safari and two nights during our safari schedule) in June 2024. On arrival we were warmly greeted by Sifael who is a wonderful host and all the staff are very friendly. The rooms are clean and very comfortable. The restaurant is nice and our evening meals were delicious. Unfortunately we didn't get a chance to use the swimming pool but if we had more time we would have done so. The hotel is perfect as a base to start or end a safari or to explore Arusha.

The staff were very helpful and friendly, we had an issue booking a bus to Arusha and they spent a good hour sorting out the booking. Is the perfect place to start a safari and to chill out after. The little monkeys and swimming pool make the place a special spot. We can't thank them enough ?

The hotel is lovely, really friendly and helpful staff and a little oasis. The pool was cleaned regularly and the grounds are really well kept. The food was basic but nice, the vegetable soup's were really tasty. The rooms are a good size, although they do not have fans or air conditioning we were comfortable. Overall this is an excellent place to stay when in Arusha.

The location it on the edge of Arusha. There is a Pharmacy and a couple of supermarkets nearby but that's about it.

Perfect place for short stay before Safari. Spacious and clean room, hot water. Very friendly staff. Since we had to start our safari very early, they prepared and left us breakfast for take out. Very good value for money!

The grounds are really pretty, and there are cute monkeys in the trees right outside the window! It's also quiet and the wifi has been fast and dependable. The price is very affordable and the staff is very friendly. Also, it's centrally located near markets and pharmacies.

The breakfast was very basic with instant coffee, a flat omelets, and a piece of toast. Also, the room has no air-conditioning or fan, and the refrigerator doesn't work even though it's advertised as having one. They don't take credit!≈

everything! the staff were very kind, beautiful surrounds and enormous comfortable bed. The balcony is lovely as is the area by the pool. Best place we stayed at in Tanzania or Kenya. They also recommended a great little supermarket close by with an ATM that doesn't charge a fee, which we really appreciated.

The one tiny thing would be it would be nice if there was a bathmat, but we weren't there long enough to ask the staff about it.

I stayed here the night before starting my safari and I loved how comfortable and spacious the room was. The breakfast was also nice and the staff is friendly. The communication was also great and I always had timely responses to my queries. I will return once my safari ends. Highly recommend!

The property is behind secured gates and has beautiful greenery all around it. Some mornings and evening monkeys will come out and provide some great entertainment. It was in a quiet area for Arusha. We did our laundry after Safari and it was very clean and fresh. My kids enjoyed the pool despite it being rather cool out. Internet worked well

The menu is simple and it can take a while for food. But that’s pretty common for Arusha. Not very close to the airport. Hot water could be a bit spotty.

It was the hotel our safari tour included for the first night of our safari, so that was the only reason we stayed one more night on the end of our safari. So, a point for the convenience. The guy on the reception was nice and welcoming. The monkeys on the trees around the hotel were fun to watch.

Very simple hotel. Pillows and mattresses were terrible. Bathroom outdated, shower weak. Restaurant was the worse we had in our hole trip: extremely poor service, we asked in advance for our meal to be ready at 8PM, it came to our table at 9:30 PM and it was tasteless.
